Wondering about the best way to take care of your new jewelry?  Here are a few helpful tips.     

      *Make sure you are done applying all make-up, lotion, hairspray, etc. before putting on your jewelry.

      *Store your jewelry in an airtight container to help prevent tarnish.  Ziploc bags or plastic containers work great. Pearls should be wrapped in soft cloth if stored in a plastic container.

      *I agree that swimming is lots of fun, but your jewelry will be much better off if it stays home.  Keep it away from chlorine, salt water, direct sunlight and suntan lotion to keep it looking its best.

      *There are a lot of great cleaning products out on the market, just make sure to read the label before using it on your jewelry as some cleaners are not safe for certain materials (i.e. pearls).  You can always use an untreated cloth if you are unsure.
